[ Kate ran into Johanna at the party and they did hang out for a while before Kate left abruptly but this is definitely also the first time anybody's mentioned deliberately meeting up in a non-training capacity. ]
[Like she actually thinks she's being stood up. She doesn't, at all. She knows better, especially because 'work called' is a pretty common circumstance right now.]
[She's not exactly sure of what just happened here. Like maybe there was a misstep? But it's just a feeling and Johanna, of course, is not good at feelings.

Well, when you're done doing whatever you're doing, drinking coffee or brunching or whatever--get your brain together and let me know if we're really going on a date.
